Joseph Mascolo currently plays the evil Stefano DiMera on the
NBC daytime drama “Days of Our Lives,” a role
for which he has been awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award for “Outstanding
Villain” and received several nominations for the daytime Emmy
Awards. He  also portrayed powerful businessman Massimo Marone
on the CBS drama “The Bold and the Beautiful.” But
his long and successful career also includes theatrical roles on
Broadway, feature film co-starring roles and numerous television
appearances.
But acting
was not his first career choice, his first love was music. He was an
accomplished musician, a concert clarinetist with the New York Metropolitan
Opera Orchestra, before he decided to pursue acting as his career of choice.
Mascolo
is a man of many talents as fans around the world have discovered. |
