 News: Joseph has enjoyed being able to show a kinder, gentler side of Stefano lately on the show and Soap Opera Digest has recognized his work with a Performer of the Week nod in their latest edition (January 25, 2011).

The Canyon News (Los Angeles) reviewer called Soul Mate "one of the most amazing novels in history ..surely a candidate to ecome a literary classic." Other celebrities featured in the parade included music superstars The Legendary Drifters, singing their hits Under the Boardwalk and On Broadway, as well as former Steelers' great Jerome Bettis.
The parade also included marching bands, floats, huge balloons of various well-known children's characters and local celebrities. The parade was aired live on WPXI-TV on Saturday, November 28, 9-11 a.m. An encore presentation was aired on Sunday, December 13, from noon-2:00 p.m.

On
Saturday, May 16, Joseph was one of the featured celebrities at a Gala/Auction
benefitting the City of Hope. The City of Hope has been the leader in
the fight to help patients around the world conquer cancer, diabetes,
HIV/AIDS and other life threatening diseases. Their mission is to heal
the whole person which means caring for the emotional, spiritual, and
physical well being of their patients and families. No one is ever turned
away for financial reasons. The event will take place in Duarte, CA.
Hundreds of fans came out for the "Day of Days" event at Universal Studios in Los Angeles on Saturday, Nov. 1. The cast celebrated the 43rd anniversary of "Days of Our Lives" with the fans as they signed autographs and posed for photos. "It was an amazing turnout," said Joseph. "The fans were fantastic and it's always great when we get to mingle and get their feedback."
On Saturday, August 23rd, Joseph attended a VIP Gala evening for the final showing of the Laguna Beach Art Festival's Pageant of the Masters event, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother). Joseph joined dozens of other celebrities as the Festival presents the 75th presentation of the "living pictures" which this year was themed All The Word's A Stage. The Pageant of the Masters unique format featured incredibly faithful art recreations and cotnemporary work with real people posing to look their counterparts in the original pieces. Contributions from the event went to the Laguna Festival of the Arts and future presentations of the Pageant.

April 25, 2008, Joseph was honored as the "Celebrity of the Year" for
the Boys' Towns of Italy. The Boys' Towns of Italy chose to honor Joseph as their "Celebrity of the Year" at their Gran Ballo held on April 25th at the Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida.

On
February 10, 2008, Joseph participated in The Gala Celebrity Poker Tournament
to raise funds for the California State Firefighters Association. Joseph
helped to raise $282,000.00 for the Southern California Firefighters
and their families at the Hollywood Knights Charity Poker Tournament
at the Hollywood Park Casino. Funds will also provide firefighter 
training
and other programs statewide through the California State Firefighters
Associations and The Fire Services Training Institute. Other celebrities who participated in the event included Brian Baumgartner, Brian Krause, Christopher Knight, Christopher Rich, Coolio, Dona Mills, Erin Moran, Jerry Mathers, Jay Johnstone,

Recently Joseph attended a special Christmas concert at New Horizons in North Hills, CA. The non-profit organization provides training, employment and social opportunities for developmentally disabled adults. Here he is photographed with members of the Bright Lights, a song and dance group comprised of "clients" at the facility. Joseph is on the honorary board of directors and is an active participant in the various fundraising efforts on behalf of the organization.
