            On April 25, 2008, Joseph will be honored as the "Celebrity of the Year" for the Boys' Towns of Italy.

The Boys' Towns of Italy has chosen to honor Joseph as their "Celebrity of the Year" at their Gran Ballo to be held on April 25th at the Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Boys' Towns of Italy is the oldest American Charity overseas founded 63 years ago by Msgr. Carroll-Abbing and Gov. John and Francesca Lodge who helped to organize committees in the United States. Today they give a home and a "chance in life" to children from 5 Continents in their democratic self governing communities.

            On February 10, 2008, Joseph participated in The Gala Celebrity Poker Tournament to raise funds for the California State Firefighters Association.  Joseph helped to raise $282,000.00 for the Southern California Firefighters and their families at the Hollywood Knights Charity Poker Tournament at the Hollywood Park Casino.   Funds will also provide firefighter training and other programs statewide through the California State Firefighters Associations and The Fire Services Training Institute.
